I enjoyed that article. It was very interesting. I, personally, think that it is much easier to be genuinely empathetic if you have gone through whatever it is yourself. I guess that's why it would be nice if you were able to find a support group nearby. In the meantime, hopefully people around you (like me) can learn to understand your situation better.
