Vlog: What's In My Bag (Chronic Illness Style)
As promised, this is a what's in my bag (chronic illness style) vlog. Make sure you watch all the way to the end...
That is all for now. I have a busy travel schedule the next two weeks, so I will not be posting much (if at all). But I already have some posts planned for when I get back. For now, enjoy getting up close and personal with the contents of my purse.
That was pretty neat. I don't usually watch vlogs, but it was fun to see and hear you rather than just reading you.
Thanks for sharing what's in your bag when you travel. I tend to keep my ginormous personal pharmacy in a gallon-size ziploc. Do you bring along the bottles of your prescription meds and just pre-load OTC stuff in the weekly thingie?
One thing I didn't notice you mention is sunscreen! It's handy to have a small bottle (TSA approved size) in my carry-on to apply on the plane so it's fresh when I finally make it outside the airport to wait for transport. Are you sun sensitive, like so many lupies are? Another suggestion is a floppy sunhat ...
But thanks -- it's nice to see how other people pack to accommodate all their illness-related paraphernalia!
I fill my pill holder with everything, but bring along the RX bottles, too.
As far as the sunscreen goes, that goes with my personal hygiene products that will be packed in my suitcase. All you saw on the vlog was just what goes in my purse. But the truth is, I hate sunscreen. I don't like the feel of it or the smell, but I am extremely sun sensitive.
Love your vlog! And my rheumy would totally scold me for that bag - he actually insists on picking up and feeling how heavy it is on each visit. That and checking out my shoe choices. I fail both frequently. ;)
Safe travels!
